Sausage Week

31st October to 5th November

Celebrate our Nation's most favourite meal with our popular Traditional, Herby or Country Sausages.

All of our sausages are handmade fresh on the premises by fully trained staff with years of experience making sausages and we only use the finest cuts of local pork. We also only use natural skins because they give the best flavour and this can account for the variation in appearance that we sometimes get. Handmade sausages may also be an irregular shape; this is not uncommon and should be viewed as an attribute not a defect.

METFIELD PORK - This is the prize winning pig herd from South Norfolk. Peter Mortimer has won many awards for the quality of his pigs and continues to produce excellent results. This is evident in the pork cuts that can be seen in the shop. We believe that to make good sausages you have to start with good pork!

During British Sausage Week (31st October to 5th of November 2011), we feature the Sausage varieties shown below and because they prove so popular, we also have a selection of sausages in stock year round so don't hesitate to ask. We can also cater for those who need a gluten free alternative.  This year we are aiming for over 40 different varieties!
